1968 Dynelectron "Longhorn Bass" - Bronze-burst
ca. 1968 Dynelectron "Longhorn Bass" - Bronze-burst incl. orig. case
This truely is a rare bird, made by italian company Maezzo in the late 60s, this is a pretty close copy of the american Danelectro "Longhorn" bass. This bass is pretty well made, actually from better quality than the original. The electronic is all original, the bridge has been changed to a Schaller 3-D bridge, original frets are still in great shape. The two lipstick pickups sound great and the playability of this light-weight is superb. Walter Becker from Steely Dan used to play on of these Dynelectron longhorn basses for quiet some time. Comes incl. original hardshell case.
