1930 Martin Style-1 Ukulele
1930 Martin Style-1 Ukulele incl. chip-board case
Super clean ca. 1930 Martin Style-1 Ukulele made of solid mahagoni, in excellent condition and all original. Considering that instrument is 85 years old, the condition is amazing! It has a couple of small repaired cracks, almost not visible. It features the "C.F.Martin&Co/NazarethPA" imprint in the back of the headstock and no Martin-decal on the front, as they started to print the logo not before 1932. The original nut is made of ebony, and like all Martin pre-war ukuleles the mahagoni neck has so called "bar-frets", which are original and in "like-new" - condition. A nice wooden body-binding and a second dot onthe 7th fret made this model a little more fancy than the much more common Style-0 model. Nice to play and beautiful, warm sound! Those little ukes where sold without a case back then, this one comes in later aligator chip-bord case.
