1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom - Cherry ...rare + lightweight!
1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom - Cherry - incl. orig. Gibson hardshell case
1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom in rare "Cherry" - finish, all original and in excellent condition, ... one of the most beautiful finishes the did on the Les Paul Custom! The guitar has been played, so there is some visible playwear, mostly on the backside of body and neck. The frets have been professionally renewed and the guitar had have Grover tuners at some time the original Kluson "Wafflebacks" are back on (no aditional holes!). The two orig. Pat.Nr.-Sticker" pickups are well balanced with outputs of 7,40K (Neck) and 7,58K (Bridge) and never had their covers of. Untouched solderjoints, 4x matching pots stamped 137.73.44 (44th week of 1973). The weight is only 4,38 kg which is rather light for a LP Custom (solid body - no weight relief-holes)! It had different tuners mounted at one time, but the original Kluson "Waffle-back" tuners are back on. The playability and necksize is very comfortable, low action, great responce and a extreme good sounding Les Paul from that early 70s aera! Nice rare Instrument, good player and perfect investment!
