1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom - Cherry Sunburst
1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom - Cherry Sunburst incl. orig. black Gibson protector case
1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Cherry Sunburst finish, all original and in good condition for its age. The guitar has been played, so there is some visible playwear and lots of beltbuckle rush on the backside of the body! There are some finish-flares on the front of the body in the area around the fretboard, and the gold plating of the hardware has some oxidation as most of these 46(!) year old Customs have, but there are no cracks, damages or other hidden repairs. The comfortably C-profile neck is very nice to play and the weight is rather on the light side for a 70s LP Custom! The original Gibson "T-Top -humbuckers" are still 60s versions with the Pat.Nr. waterslide decal on their backside and have well balanced outputs of N=7,41K and B=7,49K. The electronic is untouched with all original solderjoints, the 4x matching pots are stamped 137.73.48, dating them to 48th week of 1973. Nice Instrument for players! Comes in original black Gibson protector case w/red lining.
