1954/-55 Fender Stratocaster - 2-Tone Sunburst
1955 Fender Stratocaster - 2-Tone Sunburst incl. orig. Fender Tweed case
Early 1955 Fender Stratocaster in great condition for its age, mostly made in 1954, the body date is 11/54, all 3 stackpole pots are stamped 304.4.43 = 43rd week of 1954, only the neckis dated 1/55, which obviously make it a 1955 model! The instrument is all original, except for very old overspray, which allready blacklights correct and a professional refret. The instrument has some play-wear, no repairs or hidden damages, except for the allready mentioned overspray. The neck has a comfortable, medium-size c-shape, the body is a rare 1-piece(!) Zen-ash body - typical for Stratocaster models made in 1954 with a with beautiful grain. The complete electronic is original and untouched (except for the groundwire for doing the overspray), the 3 original singlecoil pickups have well balanced outputs of 5,23K/5,33K/5,28K and sounds superb in that guitar, the original CRL 3-way switch has never been replaced and works fine. All other parts are original to the guitar as well, such as 6x Kluson "No-line" tuners, white single-play pickguard, steel-block tremolo, etc. Incl. original Fender "centerpocket" tweed case with red plush lining.
