product description

1959 Fender Stratocaster - Sunburst incl. case

Super early 1959 Fender Stratocaster in excellent condition. This might be one the very first Stratocasters with Rosewood fretboard and Greenguard in existence! It still has the 50s body with the 54-59 "White-guard routing" but it already has a Greenguard with only 9 screw holes instead of 11. The guitar is in incredible clean condition, the hardware basically looks like new. the case also is in amazing condition, usually the tweed cases are almost falling apart but this one looks also pretty clean. The guitar is pretty lightweight with only 3,23kg, the black bottom pickups have balanced outputs of 5 ,96, 5,68 and 6,48K. The pot codes read  304.9.20 (20th week of 1959) and the body date is 5/59. Being a 59 it of course doesn't have a neck date. This is a true collector's item and a piece of history!
